One thing I love to do is laugh. Luckily, I am quite funny so I am able to make myself laugh all the time, but occasionally I need a little help. Enter the internet. When I need to turn my frown upside down I go on long expeditions through internetland hoping to discover giggle inducing junk (junk like youtube clips, gag articles, etc...not like male junk although that can be funny too but that's another story). I've discovered many gems lately and thought it might be fun to share a few with you in case you too like to bust a gut. Now if you happen to be an insomniac or just really into lint rollers then you may already be familiar with the infomercial for the Sticky Buddy. The commercial itself is humorous, but the dud behind Jaboody Dubs took it up a notch and seamlessly turned this innocent infomercial into comedy gold complete with sexual innuendos out the wazoo (fyi this is not for baby ears). If you're looking for a more family friend laugh, may I suggest the Paula Deen Health Food Cookbook. It features her healthy alternatives to bacon grease donut burgers like the ever popular fruit salad consisting of one bag of Skittles and three cups of ranch dressing lightly stirred and served at room temperature. Yum. Happy giggles!

Haha yea...I'm a laugher too...I enjoy it far too much (but there is one woman at work who laughs too much and it is annoying...my laugh isn't annoying and I laugh when appropriate. She laughs after every sentence...UGH!)

A good chuckle, Amber Girly Bird? ...or an evil laugh? ROO-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! I watched the entire Sticky Buddy infomercial and listened for those "sexual innuendos" but couldn't find a single one. I guess I'll have to go back and effen play it again! The advert forgot to mention that with a simple twist of the dial you can make hundreds of julienne fries in seconds! One thing's for sure, Amber Girly Bird. Your blog's got some junk in the trunk. Know what I'm sayin'?

you tube is amazing for laughs! sometimes tom and i spend hours just giggling at stuff. he follows some great MAN blogs that are super funny and do a lot of the weeding out and man they are gems! internet, thank you for making me laugh constantly...although like, amber i too am funny but sometimes, just sometimes i need that extra help and i thank you for being there to comfort me during those times.

I just had to tell you how I laughed when I watched that sticky buddy infomercial: loud and hard. I just watched it again in my car at school and I had no idea there was a guy sitting in the car next to me.
ReplyDeleteThe Paula Deen recipes were also a real hoot. They remind me of the ridiculous recipes I read from Rachel Ray (or is it Rey) a whole back. Somebody deserves an award for those sites!
I am exactly like you :D I can be the silliest person but one thing I hate about myself is my high are highs and my low are super lows, and people just could not understand because they assumed I am a person who laughs all the time, I will remain that way in all time.
