At this very moment I am in a car traveling with my husband to our future home state (fingers crossed) of Tennessee to celebrate our ten year anniversary.  I have a couple of scheduled posts planned but for the most part I will be MIA this week.  I hope you understand and aren't too distraught over this development. I'll be back in action next Monday, but for now I'm singing along with Mr. Van Morrison as the wind blows through my hair from the rolled down car window and I'm as happy as a clam....a very caffeinated,sleep deprived, but happy clam.

  1. I'm distraught, Amber Girly Bird! I'm all verklempt! I already threw up three times as I experience the agonizing early stages of A.G.B. withdrawal. But hey, the good news is that you might be moving to Tennessee and if that happens we'll practically be neighbors! Are you planning to watch the new Nashville television series this fall? If you're open to suggestions about "must see" attractions on your trip then I highly recommend you visit the World's Largest Cow Dung Heap. I'll miss you Amber and I wish you and Kevin a very happy anniversary celebration. You are two of the nicest kids I ever knew!

  6. Hmm... only been to Nashville once and it was for a wedding, so I'm of no help there. I seem to recall the library looking kind of neat from the outside, but I didn't make it inside. (Is it just a librarian thing to check out the library in every city you visit??)

  14. Tennessee is the best state ever but then i'm a little biased. ;) Hope you have a great time and Happy Anniversary.

    If you want to see classic Nashville go to places like the The Parthenon, WildHorse Saloon, Opryland Hotel Gardens/Grand Ole Opry, The Ryman, etc.
