I always enjoy getting a little sneak peak into my favorite bloggers life behind the camera so I thought today I would share a few candid photos for your viewing pleasure in case you're a semi-stalker like me. Let's begin:
Ah yes, this snapshot is from my nephew's first birthday party. It was a Mickey Mouse theme bash and I dressed accordingly whereas the other party goers dressed like normal human beings. Whatever.
I always have the worst luck thrifting for clothes, but I always manage to find a book or two or six to take home with me.
I have two words to say about these DIY curtains: Never Again.
Prize winnings from SF Girl By The Bay. The "Good Morning, Sunshine" mug is my personal fave as that's what Kevin says to me every morning as a joke since I am nothing like sunshine before my coffee.
Exhibit A: Its morning and I can only mange a smirk.
And that's all folks. I'm off to surround myself in country music in Nashville!
Hugs,
Amber

"Nashville cats play clean as country water." Remember that oldie but goodie, Amber Girly Bird! Well, it's great to see you, dear friend, and I hope you're enjoying your getaway to Music City, USA! (Did you check out the Dung Heap on the way down?) To me you'll always be the Queen of DIY, whether you're making curtains, painting your house or baking your buns. Please stay safe and let us hear from you again soon, dear Amber!

ReplyDeleteI like how the DIY curtains you complained about are proudly displayed in the last photo. They look awesome!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm right there with you on the thrift store thing. I've had *some* luck with clothes, but it's usually all about the books.
I agree with the last commenter, I love the curtains! I must try this out one day. Have a grew time in ol' Nashville. Do a line dance for all of us.

ReplyDeleteAhh! Why must you be so cute?! And ohhh, I'm so jealous of that last line. I wish I was there with you, drinking burrs (beers) and listening to George Strait, Hank Williams (all three of them, shit), Waylon Jennings, Willie, Patsy...etc., etc., etc.
ReplyDeleteusually "never again" is my response to anything DIY - but they look like they turned out pretty sweet!

ReplyDeleteOoo, what a cute series of photos! I love how you snapped you in them too. A lot of bloggers I know will do this, but only take a picture of their food/coffee cup/cake. Honestly, that doesn't interest me much at all... It just makes me want to eat cake. > >
